Some Things Had to Fall Apart So You Could Rise

Namaste dear souls ๐Ÿ™

A person rising from broken ruins into golden light, symbolizing resilience, hope, and spiritual growth after life’s struggles

At times, life seems to be disintegrating piece by piece. The things we had hoped for crumble, the ones we trusted move away, and the solid ground we thought we had begins to shift under us. At such times, it is only normal to wonder, "Why me? Why now? How can I move on when all I have worked for is coming apart? " But if you hold still, breathe, and gaze deeper, you might discover that what is shattering is not there to hurt you, but to ready you.

As Marilyn Monroe so eloquently said, "Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together." I remember learning when I read on Tiny Buddha that breakdowns tend to lead to breakthroughs, and when things fall apart, it is often life making room for something new to come in.".

The same idea was eloquently stated in Elephant Journal by Pema Chรถdrรถn: "Things falling apart is a kind of testing and also a kind of healing… healing comes from letting there be room for grief, relief, misery, joy." Doesn't that remind us that even during our worst moments, a seed of light is silently being sown? Let us consider Meera's story, a woman who spent years on her corporate life, defining herself completely according to her career. Suddenly, through mass layoffs, she lost everything. Initially, she felt that her world was at an end. Days became weeks of uncertainty, isolation, and dread. But in all the quiet, she re-learned her long-forgotten love for writing and mentoring. What started as a humble blog wherein she wrote about resilience gradually grew into a place of substance that touched so many hearts.

Meera would later say, "If I hadn't lost my job, I would have never found myself." Indeed, what she perceived to be her breaking point was really the start of her rising. And isn't that the very heart of life? When one ends, there is space for something greater. A lost connection can pain you, but it can be liberating you to be with someone who sincerely appreciates you. A work termination can be a dead end, but it can be directing you to your real profession. A shattered dream can merely be preparing the ground for an even greater one. As Medium astutely imparted, "If your life is falling apart, you aren't weak.".

You are just a newcomer to this new institute of learning adversity.”

There is a soft poetry hidden in every fall:

เค•ुเค› เคนिเคธ्เคธा เคŸूเคŸเคคा เคนै, เคœो เคจเคฏा เคฌเคจเคจे เค•ो เคœเค—เคน เคฆेเคคा เคนै,

Each storm, each fall, each shattered piece contains a secret blessing. We do not always see it in the midst of our pain, but time unravels that breaking was never the end—it was the start of something better. As goes one of my favorite sayings: "Sometimes you think life is falling apart, when in truth, it's falling into place."

Therefore, dear one, if your reality seems like it's breaking apart, don't despair. Let yourself weep, let yourself feel, let yourself flex—but not fracture. Have faith that life is clearing the way for your emergence. You are not shattered; you are being remade. You are not disintegrating; you are being reassembled for your highest good.

With love and light,
